Custom Invitations

Congratulations on your engagement! This is such an exciting time and can be overwhelming as you begin to plan your event. We are so honored that you’re considering CMYKnot to help create your perfect day. Here’s a little bit about our process and services.

Custom invitations are designed & made just for you!

How do we get started?

To start the process, complete the Contact Us form. We love to chat one-on-one with brides. Understanding the feel of your wedding is an important aspect of the planning process. Whether in person, on the phone or over Skype/Facetime we can start to formulate the important details you would like to incorporate. Have photos of inspirational pieces, be sure to bring them along or send them my way. After we chat, I can provide you with your custom pricing proposal.

Booking

Once you review the pricing proposal, in order to officially reserve your slot on my design calendar, I require a signed contract and a 50% retainer of the invoice. Once you are booked, I will reach out approximately 6-8 months before your wedding date to get started!

When it is time to get the process started, I will reach out to you to collect your wedding details that I'll need for the invitations. You'll be required to fill out a questionnaire that will ask you several questions about you and your partner, your wedding day, and your ultimate vision for your wedding.

Design Process

The design process is composed of several digital proofs of your invitation suite. The digital proofs are realistic and really give you an accurate look at what your invitations will look like once printed. You will have UNLIMITED proofs to ensure that your invitations look the exact way you want them to! Every proof gives you the opportunity to leave your feedback and request changes. We will go back and forth with this process until everything looks perfect to you!

Once you approve your design for printing, I will send them to my printing company. Printing takes approximately 5-7 days to be complete. During this time I will be printing your envelopes and assembling any add-ons that you ordered.

Shipping & Assembly

I ship your invitations to you unassembled, meaning you will need to stuff the envelopes and apply postage. I will provide you with instructions and a sample suite to see how everything should look before sending out. If you would prefer I do this step for you, this can be added on in the initial proposal or anytime throughout the process.
